Emma Ringe

Hi! I’m Emma Ringe, an undergraduate student pursuing my Bachelor of Science’s in Computer Science in the College of Computing at Georgia Tech. My studies include concentrations in Theory, and Modeling and Simulations. In the fall 2022 semester I have begun researching higher order corrections to Gaussian statistics under advisor Dr. Florian Schaefer.

I have experience with Java, mySQL, and JavaScript, and have taken courses in Object Oriented Programming, Data Structures and Analytics, and Database Systems. My mathematics experience includes courses in Linear Algebra, Differential Equations, and Applied Combinatorics.

I enjoy traveling and recently spent the Summer 2022 semester at Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya in Barcelona, Spain! In my free time I am an active member of the Yellow Jacket Roller Derby Team.
